WE DID IT! The 2009 Swim-A-Thon was a huge success and a
lot of fun! Over 200 swimmers participated in the event and
helped COPS raise $17,500. We surpassed our goal of $15,000!
This was our first Swim-A-Thon in over 6 years. All of your
hard work and dedication helped make this an event to
remember. Our DJ did a wonderful job getting everyone
excited and ready to swim, and Jersey Mike‘s provided
sandwiches for all of our hungry swimmers. COPS will host
another Swim-A-Thon next year as the Spring fundraiser. We
will an-nounce details in the coming months. We are already
planning a bigger and bet-ter party for 2010! I hope everyone
had a great time and THANK YOU!
