Meet the Team
Greg is COPS' new head coach coming from Mobile, Alabama. Greg brings a wealth of coaching knowledge having been a staff member of the USA National Junior Team Camp, USA National Select Camp, and USA Zone Select Camp. Greg has twice been awarded the ASCA Award of Excellence in Coaching.
Greg is committed to achieving team goals along with athlete goals. We're excited to have him on our team!
After sending her own children through COPS, Barbara brought her experience in finance, IT and business management to the COPS Office.
Barbara oversees the "dry side" operations at COPS, including billing, fundraising, team events, and more. She is an active member of COPS' Masters team and is passionate about the sport of swimming.
Head Age Group Coach
Michael is from the The Woodlands, Texas, where he grew up swimming on The Woodlands Swim Team. Michael won several TAGS Championships with TWST and a State Championship with his high school team. He then swam at The University of Hawaii and graduated with a degree in psychology.
Michael has since worked with several notable club and university teams, bringing over a decade of coaching experience to COPS.
Michael loves coaching swimming because of the positive impact it makes on young peoples' lives.
Manager of Pre-competitive Program
Coach Karen has been coaching with COPS since 2012. With a Masters degree in business and a passion for swimming, Karen successfully developed the Fundamentals program at COPS.
Coach Rosie was a member of her high school swim team. She started with COPS as a Fundamentals instructor and technique assistant before becoming an assistant coach to our Gold, TAGS Prep & Senior Division practice groups.

Asaad swam competitively (Age Group) for 6 years & helped his high school swim team win a city championship. Upon graduating college, Asaad began coaching swimming & has spent the last 6 years coaching & developing Age Group swimmers.
Jesse is returning to COPS after a sucessful 36 year coaching career. He started his coaching career in the 90's at Plano West High School while also being an assistant coach for COPS. During Jesse's career, he has coached swimmers from beginners to advanced level athletes. His resume includes 11 UIL State Team Championships along with numerous high school All Americans. He has been recognized with the NISCA Outstanding Service Award.
You can find Andrea working in the office on a computer or answering our phones. She started out as a volunteer over 10 years ago when her oldest daughter swam for COPS and currently has twins on the team. She is happy to answer all of your questions.
